dwayne wade

D-Wade
By: Stevie Morris
Dwayne Tyrone Wade, Jr. was born January 17, 1982 in the south of Chicago, Illinois. His father was named Dwayne Sr. and his mother is named Jolinda Wade. He has an older sister by the name of Tragi, who
steered him in the right direction when he was younger. His sister taught him not to run with people who would get him locked up or even worse. She kept him out of harms way and she showed him right from wrong .When his parents got divorced, he moved in with his father and his step-mother in Robbins, Illinois. While he was there, he saw Michael Jordan playing in his prime, and from then on he set his ways to play like him. Jordan had all the moves, and he was exciting to watch.
He later attended Harold L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He didn’t really get to play much his sophomore year because he was kind of short, and
he really didn’t know all of the moves then .His step-brother Demetris McDaniel was the star of the team. Wade grew four inches in the summer before his junior year. Then he started to average 20.7 points and got 7.6 rebounds per game. During his senior year he averaged 27.8 points and he led his team to the title game and won it. (Class AA Eisenhower Sectional.)
Wade could only get recruited by: {Marquette University, Illinois State and DePaul University} since he wasn’t r
eally doing well in his classes. Wade couldn’t play his freshmen year because of his academics problem. But when he became a sophomore he was eligible to play, and he led his team in points. He led his conference in steals at 2.47, per game and also averaged 6.6 rebounds with 3.4 assists per game. Wade then led his team to the Final Four; it was the school’s first appearance since winning the 1977 national championship. After the season, Wade was named First Team all-American. He became the first player from Marquette to do so since 1978. On February 3, 2007, after nearly three and half years after his final collegiate game, the school retired Dwayne Wade’s jersey. They retired wades jersey because since he had been gone no one could fore fell the role he had left. Everyone felt he was a very gifted player. They were glad to have him at the school, so they retired his jersey.
Wade was the 5th overal
l pick in the 2003 draft by the Miami Heat. Wade quickly became the best player on his team. Wade is on one of four players of Marquette to be drafted in the NBA.Wade was on the NBA-All Rookie Team and also finished third in the rookie of the year voting, for the players who had just came in to the league, and it was for some of the most outstanding players to come up and let there names be heard all over the league, like Kobe when he was a rookie .Wade was selected to be in the 2005 All Star Game. By the 2005-06 years he was known has the most prominent player. He finished the 2005–06 regular season averaging 27.2 points, 6.7 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.95 steals per game.
In the 2006-07 seasons, Wade missed a
total of 31 games due to injury. Wade had injured his shoulder blade and it was hard for him to play. The injury kind of made it hard for him to bounce back, but he found a way. He was elected to his third straight All-Star Game and received All NBA honors. He became the first guard to earn All-NBA honors after missing at least 31 games in a season since Pete Warravion of the New Orleans Jazz earned Second Team honors during the 1977-1978 season. Wade has now been the best player for Miami Heat since 1981. Wade is the most amazing player in America.
Wade is a very impressive player in I just had to do this project on him to really see what makes D-wade ticks. He is walki
ng time bomb when it comes to basketball, you’ll never know when he will explode and you’ll never know what other records he’ll brake. To find that out you’ll have to stay tuned to my writing and explore more with me.

Amercian Romanticism

One of the romantic situation in the story would have to be can't no body go to sleep for 20 years, and another would have to be no one can stay alive for ever. He was sleep until everything in his little village was cleaned up and when he woke up he was walking around and his doughter found him and after that they didn't say anything about him dieing. To me the story is funny because he tend to mind everybody esle's business expect his own.
{Rip’s story was soon told, for the whole twenty long years had been to
him but as one night. The neighbors stared when they heard it; some were
seen to wink at each other, and put their tongues in their cheeks: and the
self-important man in the cocked hat, who, when the alarm was over, had
returned to the field, screwed down the corners of his mouth, and shook his
head—upon which there was a general shaking of the head throughout the
assemblage.}

Ok, first of all who would wanna walk through some woods when there wife gets on there nerves. And who find mystical creatures and fall asleep around them and stay asleep until about 20 years. Either way it goes I would have never left and went walking in the woods, and I bet the Romantics liked that to. I bet they were glad he was able to go see nature and explore it while he was in there. And since people are from the city and it be really nasty.Some people would like to go see what nature looks like. In there eyes they see that it could be clean and that it could be a wonderful site to see.

[a long ramble of the kind on a fine autumnal day, Rip had
unconsciously scrambled to one of the highest parts of the Kaatskill
mountains. He was after his favorite sport of squirrel shooting, and the still
solitudes had echoed and re-echoed with the reports of his gun. Panting
and fatigued, he threw himself, late in the afternoon, on a green knoll,
covered with mountain herbage, that crowned the brow of a precipice.
From an opening between the trees he could overlook all the lower country
for many a mile of rich woodland.]

And when he went out 2 the forest he found these little elves that made him go 2 sleep 4 20 whole years.`

Well Ithink the poem was trying to say no matter how poor or no matter how unimportant you are, you will still die like a king or queen or what ever. Death comes to everbody no matter how wealth or popular you are. And that you should go out and imagine all the dead people that are in the earth. And Bryant thought this was to comfort youhe wasn't trying to scare you.And once you die you will be equal with all the people who was king and queens. and the romantic part of the poem is that once you die. You'll be equal. Youwon't have to feel less about urself because ya'll gonna be in the same spot and where ya'll going be a queen or a king won't matter you'll all be the same in a grave.

{The youth in life's green spring, and he who goes In the full strength of years, matron, and maid, The bow'd with age, the infant in the smiles And beauty of its innocent age cut off,-- Shall one by one be gathered to thy side, By those, who in their turn shall follow them. So live, that when thy summons comes to join The innumerable caravan, that moves To the pale realms of shade, where each shall take His chamber in the silent halls of death, Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night, Scourged to his dungeon, but sustain'd and sooth'd By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave, Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.}

Well the point of ropewalk was to tell us how tired some you get and it be so hot that you start seeing stuff that isn't really there. And it was telling us it was like a prison yard. the people were yelling at them to hurry and get there work done. and he was using his imgination to get away from his work. One image that stands out to me is:

{Two fair maidens in a swing,Like white doves upon the wing, First before my vision pass;Laughing, as their gentle handsClosely clasp the twisted strands, At their shadow on the grass.}

Because you could use that painting and imagnate yourself being there and that could help you to get away from the real world and all the troubles that you are around.

Like look at this picture you can't help but imagine yourself there and putting yourself and them people shoes. like i imagine myself standing on a big cliff. and this can help people get away. Becasuse if you was so angry at someone to the point you wanna kill someone all you gotta do is look at this picture imagne your self looking at it and killing all your problems.

wrting one

Basketball has always been my favorite spot every since I was in the 2nd grade. I might like the sport because my favorite player plays the game as well. And his name is Dwayne Wade .He plays for the Miami heat and he really didn’t do anything last year because he was hurt. But he still got to go to the Olympic Games and show out. He is an all around good basketball player and can’t anyone stand in his way. Then the next player is Lebron James. He’s one of the youngest players in the NBA. He is beyond god. He’s like a basketball god. Then the good thing about him is he came straight out of High school.
The first thing to know about basketball is all the calls, rules, fouls, and the play calling. And you have to be smart on your feet, the game moves very fast. Like if you look away for one moment you may miss a good dunk or a wonderful assist. Then the second thing about the game is to know the moves. I mean anybody can go out there and dribble a basketball but the real question is can they turn that dribbling into some real skills. I mean I can just go outside and play against some little kids and beat them with just dribbling. Then wade is one of the better dribblers of all time. He can cross you over one time and have you stuck in that same place or have you on the floor trying to get back up quick.
There are a lot of skills you will have to know in order to get to the basket or to shoot a jump shot. There are ways you can shot with out getting your shot blocked. For example, you can do a turn around jumpers and you can even do the all mighty fade? And with the fade your back have to be facing to basket then you do a turn and lean back while your leaning and let your shot go with a little bit more power than usually. Let’s just say you have somebody on you like Kevin Garnett and he’s trying to block your shot , all you have to do is act like your going one way then lean back sot the shot but add a little more power, and there you go more points to your stats sheet.
The next skill is shaking to defender off you. One of the moves that make this skill possible is the spin. The spin is when your coming full speed at them then you do a quick spin with out carrying the ball, When you spin that the ball is not in the same hand has of when you spinned. Another good name is Carmelo Anthony; He got those spins perfected. One minute you think he’s coming at you, and the next minute he is already at the basket doing a 360 dunk.
The next move is the crossover. When you do a crossover it is kind of complicated. When a defender guards you have the ball in one hand and you’re faking to the direction you think the defender may think your going. But actually you’re going the opposite way. Someone who might be good at this is Chris Paul. Chris Paul will have you going and all kinds of directions. He’ll have you going all over the court with that move.
Another move will have to be the drop step; this is the move that keeps everybody I know guessing. First you’re outside the three point line, and then you drive in with full speed, then you do like a little stop and step back very quickly and your defender should still be going the way you were going at first. The person who does this very well is Derek Rose. Derek will come in very fast, he got you thinking he’s going to come in for a lay up or he’s going to do a dunk, but he actually steps back very quickly and hits a jump shot, while your still running. And there are players who have perfected this little strategy. Like one of the players is KOBE BRYANT, he just can’t be stopped. He has that little drop step down so packed he’ll make u want to fight him while you’re guarding him.
Then the next one is the pro-hop. Can anyone stop this move? When you’re in a lot of traffic on the court you can do like a little hop and go 2 more steps and you’ll be at the basket. And you’ll be able to score more easily. This is the move Joe Johnson do a lot. He’ll be all up in traffic, then the next thing you know he’s hopping out of it and he’s taking an extra two steps and he’s at the rim.
The last two players I will name have mastered all the skills. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, These are the real reason I still want to go pro.You’ll never know what there going to; do they keep the game alive. It’s like when those to play in a game the crowd already know there in for a real trick or they’ll be shocked if they even close there eyes while trying to watch them play. They got the drop step, the fade a way jumper, the cross overs, the behind the back and a lot more we just haven’t seen yet.

purtians and The Rationalists

some of the beliefs of the purtians were: Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible grace, and the Manifest destiny. I think he was trying to say god can not help u there's no way out of u being a sinner. And god is awfully upset with u for bein a sinner. and the only think stoppin him 4rm lettin u drop in the pit of hell is the little bit of respect he stilll have 4 u.but on other cases he could care less about the whole sitituation. They all only lived in the fear of god.
Because they never knew when god would kill them or give up on them. They were very cruel 2 one another. they didn't care how bad the other person was bruised, all they cared about were themselves back then. They looked after thereselves. They really didn't care about family. Then they put there whole life into the form of the followeth: IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN.. And they were very terrified of the indians back then.
Everytime a indian came by they would all run away and the indians would take there toools and they wouldn't be able 2 finish any of the jobs they were doing. and they lived 4 the people who say they can speak 2 the gods .
Well i think they shouldn't have been doing that. I think they should have calmed down a little bit and tried talkin 2 god and apologizing 2 god every night. And maybe just maybe they'll have a little bit of more respect 4rm god. Or they should have done something they knew would have pleased god.
Total Depravity: Since adam and eve we've been sinners since the waking of time with god and we don't have an understanding. God will be mad with all who is born 4rm tha get go.
Unconditional Election: MR.John Carver(A man godly and well approved amongest them) He was able to speak 2 the gods and tell them what the other people were thinking.

The Rationalists doesn't believe god is responsible 4 everthing. they think things happen 4 a reason and they wanna be the ones 2 figure it out. And they thought that people shouldn't worry about those things and just live there life. I mean they believed in god don't get me wrong but not in a power of controlling everything. They believed that god created the earth but kept us on it 2 figure out how 2 work it and the natural laws. The rationalists men and women believed that human society was ran by natural laws.If people were able to discover and understand these laws, they would be able to improve their lives. While improvement was important to the Puritans, they pleaded with God for it, and the rationalists believed they could take a scientific approach to self-imporvement.A Rationalist would believe that anything could be understood through science. Puritans thought this to be an insult to God since they believed humans had no business deconstructing God’s work.
He served as Postmaster General under the Continental Congress, and later became a prominent abolitionist. He is credited with inventing the lightning rod, the Franklin Stove, and bifocals. I should have no objection to a repetition of the same life from its beginning, only asking the advantages authors have in a second edition to correct some faults of the first. So I might, besides correcting the faults, change some sinister accidents and events of it for others more favorable.
Ben fraklin was a rationist because he didn't believe god made things happen he believed in science doing everything. Like everyone from his time said when it lightned, god was mad at u . so my boy Ben had to go do a little experiment and he caught the lighting, and he later found out it was just electtricity and that it could be conducted itto energy. and that's how they got power and was able to keep there lights and such on.
